There was a big announcement yesterday in the world of rap battles, as Lush One moved the “fresh coast division” from GrindTimeNow to the King of the Dot league. The reason for the move is still unclear but KOTD has had a lot of success as of late in their events and all the credit should go to the league’s founder, Organik.
The Canadian battle league recently had major success with its main event, Dizaster vs DNA, which was co-hosted by one of the biggest names in music today, Drake. Lush One is the President/CEO of the west coast division and through hard work and dedication put his division on top of all others.
The announcement of the move came with details of the first event titled Makaveli. The event will take place in Los Angeles on June 9th and 10th with a monstrous main event, Dizaster vs Canibus.
