Funk Volume has gained popularity in 2011 as the headliner, Hopsin, took his I am Raw tour around the globe. After a successful tour, Hopsin gained notoriety and is a candidate for XXL’s 2012 freshman class. At the beginning of 2011 the label only had two artists, Hopsin and SwizZz, but just last month they signed on Dj Hoppa and Dizzy Wright to the roster.
This video showcases their individual talent, as well as provides a preview into what we can expect for 2012. SwizZz is set to release his first studio album in the first quarter of 2012, which pushes back Hopsin’s highly anticipated album Knock Madness.
